Apart from the basic features of transmitting and receiving capabilities, marine radio is also used for rescue services, weather alerts, position tracking and communicating with the harbors and locks. The Garmin VHF 300 AIS marine receiver combines radio communication and 1 or 25 watts of transmit power with multi-station support. This gives you the flexibility and convenience you need to safely navigate and communicate on the open waters.

In addition to dedicated buttons and knobs for ease of use, the VHF 200 features Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) capability via NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 interface. This provides distress calls with the push of a button. Marine radio receivers and mics allow you to stay in touch anywhere on the water, making boating fun and safe.
