I have never really enjoyed driving through the unfamiliar lanes of United States & Canada as much as I do now. All thanks to the Garmin Nuvi 1490LMT that I bought last week following an advice from a friend. This bluetooth enabled GPS unit is preloaded with street maps of Canada, United States as well as Mexico so that I no more need to shift my focus from the road for referring maps manually & can instead enjoy the beautiful sights & sceneries these countries offer.

Best GPS I ever used and it is a good price. great features nice color I used a nuvi 200 before this model is much better nice menu. much better the other brands I love this thing I think everybody should buy one. I hope this help you decide what GPS to buy. Good luck. ohhhh one more thing this gps is a prefect size dont get the smaller one.

I had looked at my friend's GPS and thought it was a nifty device to navigate out of the area. I had looked around for one myself and purchased the 1490LMT. It was better than what I had expected. The screen is BIG with features the other GPS didn't have. It has lifetime traffic and map updates which blew my mind away. I may have to buy one for my son too.

I've been having my Nuvi 1490 for several months. I upgraded from a Nuvi 1300. How can you beat life time map and traffic updates along with a 5" display, blue tooth, lane assist, and junction view for the price. I highly recommend it.
