Just installed the unit and two cameras in a Can Am Maverick. While I haven’t had an opportunity to really go out and use the gps, the large display and versatility should be a nice addition to my SXS. Although a little pricy, you get what you pay for sometimes. I’m attempting to load a couple pictures of the installation, but the website keeps rotating the photos and then cuts out. I’ve had good luck with all my other Garmin units, hopefully this one wont disappoint either. It really nice not having to put on glasses to see the screen options. 4 stares only because i haven’t taken the unit off road, and the mount can’t be securely locked into place. I’m having to have a metal cover fabricated that goes over the sliding mount release, so i don’t have to remove the GPS from the car every time I park it in town. At $1500.00, I’d hate to have it stolen. Hopefully Garmin will understand the security concerns and come up with a locking slide. I have replaced the ram mount with a locking device that’s available, but the GPS still is not secure in the magnetic mounting assembly.
