I accidently left my old window Suction Cup in a rental on a business trip. I figured no problem, Go to Garmin website and buy a replacement. Now what? I checked several websites and no one carried a replacement. I really didn't need to buy an entire new GPS. Then I stumbled on Factory Outlet Store and they had the exact replacement. It shipped fast and fit perfect like new! Thanks for carrying it, in the future, I will check your site first for things!!
I am very happy with the replacement windshield mount, it's nice and tight fitting on the ball. Then new suction cup is holding place real nice on the windshield.. thank you.
The mount was exactly what I expected. It mounted easily and it can be removed and remounted with ease. I use it to cover the large radio/backup camera display.
My 8 year old multi car bean bag got too slippery and crashed off the instrument panel often. Considered sticking a new base on it, but the windshield clip turned out a much better and long term solution! Did I mention a great price too? $! Two cars = two suction cups still cheaper than fixing old mr bean bag.
I needed (like most people) only the mounting plate that clips to the back of the GPS because part of plastic socket receptacle broke.. The suction cup and ball that mounts on the windshield seems indestructible and would only need replaced if lost... But these pieces are not offered separately.
I left my Suction Cup Mount in a rental car, during a trip. Needless to say, I need another one. This is the original one and working great. In fact, I bought two! Just in case.
Suction cup would not stick to glass even after removing seal. I discovered edge had not been properly trimmed, after I removed raged edge it stuck as it should. J W S
